Currently, in Shanting district, there are the forest floor eight hundred and twenty thousand acres, ecological forest four hundred thousand acres, economic forest four hundred and twenty thousand acres, green channel more than

eight hundred kilometer. Forest coverage rate reached 47.3% which is among the leaderin the country.

 

       It is reported that currently Shanting district is establishing the National Greening Model Country. This is the highest honors and awards of greening work from the People's Republic of China.
